It could be accurate...or it could be some underling was trying to 
let the poor girl down easy, because they weren't interested in 
auditioning an unrepresented person (not having an agent can be a 
very bad sticking point sometimes!).  But it's generally given that 
the filming for this is supposed to start sometime early next year, 
so I doubt they're dragging their feet on this.  As Alexandre Dumas 
said, "wait and hope"...
