>From IMDB.com:

"Richard Harris may play Dumbledore yet again in the next Harry Potter movie, Prisoner of Azkaban, even though he died on Oct. 25, the London Sun is reporting. The newspaper said that the producers intend to use digital technology to superimpose Harris's face over Harry Robinson, his stand-in for the first two films. An insider told the newspaper: "Many hours of footage [of Harris] are currently being scanned to see if the process is viable for the film." The newspaper did not indicate how Harris's voice could be retrieved from the grave."

Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to be. That would be incredibly expensive, probably wouldn't work so well, the voice still wouldn't match, and it's pretty much pointless to do this at all when the costume is 90% of the appearance...

It would be pretty strange if it did work out though. Long-dead actors could keep appearing in new movies... aging would never be a problem, they could wait on the 4th HP movie 10 years and then go back and do it with images of the younger actors... something tells me this isn't going to happen, at least not anytime soon.
