As you may have noticed, this list is a sister group to the much larger
book-based discussion group, HPforGrownups.  Most of the members here
are members over at the main group & have read the books.  We haven't
enforced spoilers on the main group since approximately 6 weeks after
the release of GoF, the 4th book.  I don't think it would be possible to
expect to enforce any spoilers on this list for that reason. People
simply aren't used to using them, and this list won't be any exception.
It would be far too hard to administratively enforce that sort of
rule.  I hope you won't take this as unwelcoming, but I do believe that
you are in the distinct minority in waiting to read each book after the
release of the movie, Shelagh.  I would also point out that even simple 
matters like fantasy casting calls for future movies will undoubtedly 
contain spoilers for you if you haven't read the rest of the books.

I would, however, like to remind everyone to keep their subject headings
relevant.  This is an integral List Rule on the main group, and I think
it will help Shelagh's concerns as well.  Shelagh can perhaps avoid
messages with subject headings that look suspiciously like spoilers.
