Hello,
well, as I was reading the books, I just never wanted to assume that
James was also in Gryffindor. While reading PoA, I was intrigued
with the bit about Snape following Sirius, Lupin, Peter and James
around. How could he really follow them around constantly and
successfully if they were not in the same house?? Somehow, though,
Malfoy manages quite well to follow R/H/H. Anyhow, this is what
really got me thinking that James and the rest were probably in
Slytherin with Snape. However, I have not read the interviews with
JKR where she confirms that James was a Gryffindor. Does anyone know
where these interviews are posted on the web??

Also, I asked a friend of mine which house she thought James would
have been in and she also immediately answered, "Slytherin." I
really need to read those interviews!

Cheers,
Jenny
