According to Newsweek International, Warner "must" replace Chris
Columbus for PoA. According to the article, he's weary of never
seeing his family. The article included a "shortlist" of replacement
directors:
Callie Khouri (director of Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood)
Kenneth Branagh
and Alfonso Cuaron, who directed Y Tu Mama Tambien.
Now, of those three, only Branagh is familiar to me, and seems to me
a good choice, especially since he will be in the second film.
The article also said that as the young actors playing the trio
are "ageing faster than their characters" they may have to be
replaced for the fourth film.
