GAAAAAH!!! I hope not.  They've had little enough screen time as it 
is...
Another possibility: we only see the bedroom before the Dursley's 
decide to put Harry in solitary, right?  Perhaps Vernon locks up the 
trunk after the whole business with the ruined dinner party goes 
down...
