Dobby & being picky

Yes, exactly.  And I just had another thought: House-Elves are 
supposed to have their own brand of powerful magic.  However, looking 
at CoS-Movie-Dobby, one wouldn't actually see a 'powerful' creature.  
He doesnt seem very solid.  I don't picture the Malfoy's as 
employing/enslaving (S.P.E.W. anyone?) a house-elf that doesn't have 
the ability to stand on his own.

I wonder how they did design Dobby? I dont suppose they'll tell us 
though.  Some kind of secret.  Oh, but didn't C. Columbus say that 
Dobby was definitely not like Jar-Jar Binks?  Uh-oh. <G>  At least 
Jar-Jar seemed somewhat solid.

ok, im going off now. I'll stop.  Im going to enjoy the movie 
regardless of what Dobby looks like; I already know this. :)
