May I propose (and incur the wrath of the illustrious and hard working moderators) on behalf of thsoe of us in the UK who don't frequent the cinemas as much as we should, so don't know if the trailer is out here yet, a vote of thanks for the detailed and enlightening cub report.

Subject: [HPFGU-Movie] CoS trailer - here there be trailer spoilers

I got lucky - got to see the trailer twice because of some very nice
people at the movie theatre. (It pays to make sure management knows
you've seen Lord of the Rings 26 times. Probably didn't hurt I was
  wearing a Harry Potter T-shirt either. ;-> )

Moving on (this is in no particular order, just as I'm remembering
  things from the trailer):

Daniel's voice is totally unrecognizable! If I hadn't known him by
the face (albeit a definitely older one) I *never* would have known
  it was his.

The three of them seem to have grown almost the same proportionately.
  Very convenient. <g>

btw, they used the same music as with the trailer for SS/PS and
simply worked the whole trailer around that. A touch lazy, but then
I've been spoiled by Howard Shore and Peter Jackson. Nice shots all
the same. And it was great to be able to see it twice.

Snape looks a bit like he's gained a little weight - actually looked
a tad healthier despite the white complexion. And his hair looked a
little shorter and fuller. Course that could have just been the
  lighting.

Loved Ron's "Can we panic now?!" at the end. <g>

Dumbledore's beard seems a bit.... tamer. (Only way I can think of to
  describe it.)

Loved the bit with the sword (Harry reaching up for it and thrusting
it lustily at the sky) - though not having read the last three
chapters of CoS I'm not sure if it's true to the book or not.

The door to the Chamber was *very* cool with all those snakes and
things (yes, I read someone had posted it's much different than
what's in the book, but it was still cool <g> ).

If the trailer is any indication, the duel between Harry and Draco is
  going to be *wonderful*!

Interesting moment with Ron and Harry sitting all by themselves at
the table in the great hall while the rest of the school is eating
together. Obviously after the whole parseltongue revelation.

The bit with Harry, Ron and Hedwig in the car is cute and funny but
most likely just something thrown in so the kids can scream and have
a little more excitement on the drive to Hogwarts. <G>

I wish they'd done more with Gilderoy than just showing his face for
a second or two, but hopefully the studio will release a different
trailer closer to opening so we can see more.

The diary scene is very nicely done. I got a little chill up my spine
when Harry's written words "Do you know anything about the Chamber of
Secrets..." disappeared and that "yes" appeared! Even after having
read that part and knowing it was coming. <g>

That's all my feeble memory can handle for the time being. Hopefully,
I'll have the same luck next time I hit the theatre and I'll actually
  take notes.

And from some other accounts at other boards (stuff I either missed
  or forgot about):

Riddle tells Harry about combining the strength of Slytherin and
Gryffindor... the line ends with a shot of his hand parting Harry's
  hair to reveal the scar.

They show Snape apparently showing Ron and Harry the picture of the
  flying car in the newspaper.

  Lastly:
Someone else mentioned somewhere (and I can't find it now) about
Harry and Ron confronted by a set of spider legs - at which point
Harry tells Ron not to panic. (But a panicking Ron is *so* much fun!)
