CoS trailer - here there be trailer spoilers

I loved the trailer! And WB's marketing worked on me - I don't think
I would have made a point to take my son to Scooby Doo without the CoS
trailer to entice me. At least, not on opening day. (Ahem)

You know, I'm thinking that's a scene which will actually have CG
added later, and I will only say that once you read the last three
chapters you'll likely glom onto what's missing from the trailer.

Actually, there's no place in the book that has Harry and Ron sitting
apart from everyone else during a meal in the Great Hall as a result
of the parseltongue thing; but there *is* a scene during a Christmas
holiday meal when Harry & Ron sit apart from everyone else because
they want to discuss the polyjuice scheme without anyone listening in.
:P My guess is that's the scene we saw in the trailer.

Ooh, that *was* very nifty! And the bit with Tom - whee!

Weighing in on Dobby - I didn't mind how he looked; the only thing I
really noticed that seemed off about him is that he didn't sound half
as spastic as I imagined him. I can't envision that CGI'd Dobby
banging his head against the wall every other sentence, really....
But I'm not pre-judging too fiercely, because that *was* only Dobby's
first line to Harry. Plenty of time for him to become hysterical. :)
