For People Trying to Save the Trailer to Their Hard Drive

Hi,

Since there's a lot of people having trouble saving the trailer to
the hard drive, here are my recommendations.

First of all, Martin, the reason people are having trouble with the
link you gave to your server is because it has an AT symbol (@) in
it, which Yahoo!Groups sees and does the little Protect ID thing it
uses to keep people from viewing other people's e-mail addresses.
You'd have to put a extra spaces in the link around the AT symbol
(@), and then have people cut and paste the link, and remove the
spaces, in order for it to work.

But . . . that probably won't be necessary, because of the following:

For anyone who has already viewed the trailer off the official site,
it should theoretically have downloaded into your cache (this isn't
always the case, but it usually is).

Try doing a Find File on your hard drive for the files named *.mov
(in the case of QuickTime) and see if among the results there is a
file called hp2_trl1_qt_500.mov or something similar (the last three
numbers are different if you have a lower quality trailer). This is
the Chamber of Secrets trailer, which you can drag from that folder
to wherever you want to keep it.

Also, if this doesn't work for you, there's another tactic to try.
Those of you who were having trouble with right-clicking on the link
and getting a "Save As..." or "Save Target As..." are probably having
trouble because you are trying to do this at the official site, which
is programmed in such a way to avoid you're doing this. Therefore,
instead go to http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org and scroll down until
you see where Heidi has put links to each individual QuickTime file
of the trailer. Right-click on whatever quality you want, and
the "Save As..." option should be there.

If all these options don't work, let us know!

-Luke
