The filming of Platform 9 3/4 took place on King's Cross Station in London.
The stonework therefore is most unlikely to predate the British railway
network. IIRC the stonework pattern in King's Cross is similar to many other
"red-brick" buildings of its period. You'll be able to find more info on
Google, I'm certain :)
