Private Lives closed on September 1st (or thereabouts). Unless he has something else up his
sleeve there's no reason why he can't go to the premiere.
My two cents on the issue of there being too many movie clips around: I considered the idea that
watching all the trailers and the CountingDown clips might spoil my experience in the theater but
decided that - for me - it'll do more good than harm. I've read the book. I know what's going to
happen anyway. If I'm already familiar with some of the scenes by November 15th then I'll be able
concentrate on the less obvious performances, the kind of stuff you only catch on repeated
watchings of the DVD. In that way it might save me the temptation of seeing it in the theaters
several times. ;-)
