My rather nit-pick question now.

How is it that Madam Pomprey can turn people back from being petrified
in a few minutes and can regrow the bones in an arm overnight, but
can't heal the cuts and scraps in PS/SS?  Our poor hero still had a
bandage on his hand in the end.  I would think simple things like cuts
and bruises would be healed instantaneously.

I find that inconsistent in the movies.
