The screencaps are up at "The Leaky Cauldron" (I was able to access
them without any trouble) http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/
I LOVED them! Now I'm dying to see that trailer. I think it quite
mean of WB to only show it 'down under' and not post it on the
official website. I especially wanted to see Snape send out the
ring of fire at Lockhart. The production people seem to have put
quite an edge onto the teachers' demonstration duel. I had heard
somewhere that the snake Draco sends out at Harry looks a bit fake.
Of course, it was hard to tell in these small pictures, but it did
look quite menacing all reared up with its fangs exposed. And I
know that Harry and Hermione's closed-eyes hug will get its share of
SHIP discussion in spite of Melissa's (at TLC) caution that the
children are 'only twelve.' I wonder if Columbus got an OK from
Rowling--perhaps a bit of inside information, or if he was taking
his own creative liberty with canon. I love the way he stuck to the
first novel and didn't try to turn it inside out to make it more
Hollywood.
Thank you, Alexis, for all the trouble you went through to share
with us. (And I did notice your name on TLC's site!)
