The Grey Lady

After watching the newest CoS trailer, I just had to
post about this because it's something that's been
bothering me for some time.  I know on the main group
there have been some discussions about ghosts and some
specific to the Grey Lady but has anyone else noticed
her appearances in the movies and thought it odd?  In
SS/PS she is sitting at a desk when Harry, Ron, and
Hermione race up to McGonagall's desk saying they need
to see Dumbledore.  There is also a brief shot of her
with Nearly Headless Nick, who is telling her about
Harry becoming the Gryffindor seeker.  Now, after
having seen several trailers, I've noticed that she's
sitting at the table with Harry as he's writing in the
diary and asking if Tom Riddle knows anything about
the Chamber of Secrets.  Any thoughts on this?  I know
there is supposed to be more about ghosts in the
upcoming novels and I know JKR told some of the people
involved in the films some extra info about some of
the characters so I'm wondering if Columbus knows
something about the Grey Lady that we don't know.
