[HPFGU-Movie] The Grey Lady

I *think* I read somewhere that JKR said we'd learn more about the Grey Lady in 
a future book.  So she may indeed be important.  Did anyone else read this?  I 
hope I'm not making it up. :o  I really do think I read it, though, honestly.

Another thing, we've hypothesized over Peeves and what it is different about 
him. Yet he was removed from the movies.  Even though he was filmed.  Is he 
important or isn't he?  You'd think they'd have checked with JKR before 
removing an entire character.

After watching the newest CoS trailer, I just had to
post about this because it's something that's been
bothering me for some time.  I know on the main group
there have been some discussions about ghosts and some
specific to the Grey Lady but has anyone else noticed
her appearances in the movies and thought it odd?  In
SS/PS she is sitting at a desk when Harry, Ron, and
Hermione race up to McGonagall's desk saying they need
to see Dumbledore.  There is also a brief shot of her
with Nearly Headless Nick, who is telling her about
Harry becoming the Gryffindor seeker.  Now, after
having seen several trailers, I've noticed that she's
