Well, let me throw in my two cents on this. First, I think Chris Columbus
is viewing things from an emotional, "father" standpoint now. Considering he
is leaving the directing position to be with his family, it's only natural
that he is thinking of the kids the same way. It's a natural way for a
father to look at things. Second, it is a long time away. They won't even
consider the casting of GoF for at least a year and a half. They haven't
even started a screenplay for GoF.

My personal views on the matter are that I want all of the cast to stay the
same if at all possible. However, if it comes to a time where Daniel, Emma,
or Rupert are no longer happy with it, no way. They seem like to sweet of
kids to force into something they don't love. If they love it then as much
as they do now, go for it. If they are ever pushed out of the movies to be
replaced by other kids, I will very possibly refuse to see the movie! Okay,
maybe not, but I'll think about refusing.

I seriously got the giggles when I read the Chris Columbus interview and saw
that response. I hope he goes and watches the international trailer because
Daniel's eyes are most definitely green at least in that one scene (where
Lucius moves his hair aside with his snake head cane to see the scar). And
there's no green around him, it's all black. And his eyes are as green as,
well, a fresh pickled toad. :)
