I've always thought Willem Defoe would be a great Moody. He's a
supurb actor and definitely on the creepy side. Did anyone see him
in "Shadow of the Vampire"? He was amazing, even through layers and
layers of makeup (*side note* "Shadow" also features Lupin candidate
Ronan Vibert, who is so insanely *not* Lupinesque I *will* boycott
PoA if he gets cast as Remus). And I'd dare say Moody's a bit richer
character than the Green Lantern. But, again, Defoe is American, so
that probably won't happen.

He's got the look, in my opinion, to pull off a wonderful Lupin. Just
my thoughts>>>>
Julian Sands *would* make a good Lupin. I was watching the movie
Impromptu (Terrific movie about the love affair between George Sand
and Frederic Chopin -- highly recomended!!!!) the other morning --
Sands plays Franz Liszt -- and ruminating about what a terrific
Lucius Malfoy he'd have been. I'd only ever seen him in harsh, mean-
type roles before, but he's softer and quite sympathetic in Impromptu
and I was surprised to find him very likeable. Still, his features
are rather sharp and I always pictured Lupin having softer, more
boyish features.
It *really* is too bad they just don't hand the casting over to the
fans and make life easier for themselves ;-)~
BTW, am I the only one who feels like she's watching rapping Draco
whenever they see Eminem (if you don't know who he is, count your
blessings)? He looks exactly like an older Tom Felton.
