Sorry, Felicia, I wouldn't mind seeing it myself, but it's on over
there <GulPlum gets out his long left arm and points to the other
side of the Atlantic>. No UK channel carries it. However, the
programme was doubtless pre-recorded last week when the kids were
Stateside so I doubt there'll be anything new.

You're welcome. ;-) As for the voice, I noticed it too!
Incidentally, I got the impression that Rupert looked distinctly
bored. I don't really blame him, having to answer the same anodyne
questions again and again ... and again.
He only seemed to liven up when he pulled out the artificial (but
VERY lifelike) slug with which to disgust the woman presenter. :-) I
don't share Rupert's (or Ron's) squeamishness (I spent the whole
summer battling a massive slug invasion in our garden), but even I
came out with a "YUK!" when it appeared!
OT Note: this was the first time I'd watched Blue Peter in about 20
years. The first thing which came to my mind is "it's really gone
downhill since I was a kid"... I was particularly disheartened by the
lack of the studio animals.
