Here are my two knuts:

1) Daniel is not growing too fast. I was a fully grown
5'7" at 13. So it could have been a lot worse :-)

2) Dumbledore says specifically in CoS: When Lord V.
resurfaced after his years in the wilderness, very few
people connected him with the *handsome Head Boy* Tom
Riddle. So, Tom's cute, clean looks fit him perfectly
well - and he has exactly the sort of looks that we
can expect Dan to grow into ...
