Corgi! <raises eyebrows in utter astonishment>

Is Michael Praed still around then? I had never thought of him as a possible! Not sure where I thought he had gone though (maybe Azkaban.....?) ;-)

I think Mayall would be be very very good Moody material, however, myth and legend has it that he was down as the voice of Peeves the *extinguished from the film on grounds of cost* poltergeist, so would that rule him out?????

Billy Connolly lacks the sinister element that I am sure your average auror has and which Mayall could definitely conjure up, but that's just a personal thing so no-one get upset OK?. No, I'm not saying his is not a fine actor. After all your average auror rubs shoulders with the weirdest people in the course of a day's work and paranoia cannot have been the only thing to have rubbed off so Mayall could do a splendid sinister, with a dash of the humane when necessary.

<sigh> Rik Mayall... so excellently twisted. <sigh> They should hire
him for... something. Somebody. But not Moody, Moody really MUST be
  Billy Connolly.

So! Do I have any takers to pitch Michael Praed as Remus Lupin, with
  vigour and obsession? ;)
