Really? Considering that every interview or photo op with Daniel is him
without glasses, I assumed (combined with the next point I'll make) that
he has not need of vision correction.

What I heard was that they attempted to put green contacts on Daniel, but
he couldn't tolerate the contacts. Then they considered doing some sort
of CG to make his eyes green, but it was found to be either impossible or
too costly or both.
I don't know if I've heard wrong or what. But I do find it very
disappointing that Daniel's eyes aren't green. :/
