Myself, I think we deserve a DVD that can be easily manipulated by adults
who don't actually have time to spend 10 minutes going to Gringott's, buying
wands, and getting through class to get to the deleted scenes every time
they want to see them! :)

The 2002 one is about 95% photos. Most of the illustrations that are in it
are things like the crests, signs from Diagon Alley shops, etc. But yes,
the vast majority is real photos. I highly suspect that the whoever put the
thing together was handed a pile of photos/clips and told to have a nice
time assembling the calendar. The comments they put by the pictures don't
always go with the scene, but if the movie hadn't been seen, I can
understand how they might get them wrong. Still, I love it. Although I
can't help but peek ahead. But then if I didn't, how would I have known
about that picture of Harry with his flute from Hagrid? It's not until Dec.
24th. Oh, and both Ron and Harry are looking up, in the same spot, smiling.
At what? Did someone come to the top of the stairs? Another Weasley? Did
Hagrid come in (in the movie) to give Harry the present? Argh, I must know!
