Yeah, well, I'm not sure that the "details" in the fullscreen version
actually warrant the money. The only picture which in my view adds anything
to the equation is the Weasley clock, but we're clearly going to see more
of that clock in the future anyway. The Evening Prophet was "cute", but
beyond that, completely unimportant.
Knowing that these things are absent from the picture doesn't spoil my
enjoyment of the widescreen version. Seeing things like the train excised
from Platform 9 3/4 made me squirm when I recently saw the fullscreen one,
though!

(mainly because I didn't really have any specific comments to make) but
