Actually, from what I read and heard in countless interviews, they started 
filming COS two or three days 'after' SS/PS opened in theaters.  

With GOF, they are going to start filming two whole months 'before' POA even 
comes out. I think that POA will most likely be in post-production at this 
time and not principal photography, so the kids will be have some time off 
between the two. I mean, they have been filming POA since late Feb, I have to assume 
they will finish soon and not still be shooting 'next' April ;)
