glasses (was silly question)

I've read so many articles, I can't say which ones (there were 
several) included the information.  He said in several places I've 
read, that he was supposed to wear glasses but kept breaking them -- 
he even broke off half a tooth from chewing on them, as well as 
breaking the ends of the temple pieces.  He had to be chewing pretty 
darned hard to break off half a tooth!  I didn't get to see the Katie 
Courick interview where he rubbed his eye THROUGH his Harry Potter 
glasses -- wish they had that one online, sounds like fun.  ;->
