Brummie means "someone from the English Midlands"? Is it an 
abbreviation of something? I know Oxonians are from Oxford, and 
Mancunians are from Manchester, and Liverpudlians are from Liverpool, 
but I have no idea about Brummies.

OMIGOD. I just had a flash of who I could see Gary Oldman as ... but 
this is wildly OT ... If anyone ever made a movie of Lori Summers' HP 
fan fic (POU, STNE, HWTF etc.), I could see Oldman as (ta da) 
Napoleon Jones (how about *that* for going OT??)
