I think it really showed Lucius' level of evilness and further sets him up
as a true villian for GoF.
This has probably been said before I'm sure, but when it comes to making a
movie from a book, you're never gonna please everybody. I think J.K. Rowling
could have made the movie herself and people would be saying "well I didn't
see it like that".
