Not disputing you at all. The best I can recall the article, which
should still be on the internet, didn't refer to it as 'Actor's Equity
Union'; it used the word in lower case 'equity' as in 'equity stepped
in'. Again, based on my recall. I assume that would mean Actor's
Equity. Remember too that this is Britain. I'm not sure if it's
different there.

I don't think you have to belong to multiple unions. For example,
Jonny Carson formerly of 'The Tonight Show', performed his entire
career as a member of the magician's union. Again, I don't know the
details of how actor unions work in Britain.

But you point is well made and well taken.
