There's an interview with Jim Dale, the voice of the HP books for Americans, 
on The Leaky Cauldron these days.  (TLC actually did the interview, which is a 
nice one!)  He said he'd love to be in the HP movies, and that he heard they 
were actually using his characterizations to help cast the film -- yet they 
haven't approached him about being in the movie!  Isn't that weird?  I like Jim 
Dale a lot, and he's done a wonderful job with the books (for you Brits, he is 
a Brit and does all kinds of regional accents for the various parts, as well 
as different sounding voices).  Let's find a part for Jim Dale!  ;->
