Bob was my original first choice for Mad-Eye... Short doesn't matter;
Robbie Coltrane is a bit too short to play Hagrid, and John Rhys-
Davies is way too tall to play Gimli in LOTR :-)

I love both of these guys, but Jeremy just seems a tad too suave and
good-looking for Mad-Eye. Malcolm McDowell, though, already has a
stack of roles in which he has played guys who are more than a tad
unhinged. He's already grizzled looking, and can be very intimidating
(I'm remembering his wacked-out performance in one of the Star Trek
movies a few years ago...). Okay, so now I'm torn between Bob Hoskins
(mostly for his comedic talents) and Malcolm McDowell...
Anne U
(can imagine either of them growling "Constant vigilance!!")
