BBC's David Copperfield is available to purchase on Amazon.com and it's not
expensive at all. Seeing Daniel at that age and in that part is well worth the
cost - he's heartwrenching. Plus it's a very good adaptation of a very good
book.
Speaking of that production, Trevor Eve plays the evil Mr. Murdstone, the
stepfather from hell, and I've been trying to figure out a part for him in GOF or
even OOTP. I always liked him. Also, after watching Zoe Wanamaker play the
equally evil Miss Murdstone in that, I always thought it was a shame she had
already played Hooch since she might have made a great Umbridge (makeup and wigs
do wonders and I am sure if she can transform from Miss Murdstone to Madame
Hooch, she would have no problem becoming Umbridge).
I've been thinking of other British actors lately and it occurred to me that
Martin Shaw might make a pretty good Moody - he always had that wild-eyed
look, in my opinion <g>. And I think he's old enough by now, he's about 58 ;-)
How old is Moody supposed to be anyway?
