Thanks for the link Manda!

Here's another site with a slightly less blurry picture:
http://www.comingsoon.net/news.php?id=761

It seems to me that the photo was taken at Leavesden where,
according to Cindy in an earlier post, Dan Radcliffe celebrated his
birthday. That this surfaced on the net only a few days after
the "Make a Wish" foundation fans vistited the set makes me think
that they are the girls in the photo.

My unashamedly biased thoughts - well, firstly, I'm absolutely
chuffed to finally see what Sirius will look like in the new film
and I think that he looks great (putting on my asbestos-lined
robes). Not everyone will share my enthusiasm however I think that
it is important to realise (to state the obvious), that 12 years of
Azkaban make the "handsome Sirius" of the wedding photo into someone
whom Harry barely recognises.

I love the Azkaban wizard robes (and I do *NOT* care that the
stripes are horizontal instead of vertical vs arrowed etc, etc). I
acknowledge that Sirius does not wear Lennon glasses but that Mr
Oldman obviously does. I love the beard (whoops - almost
quoted "Lord Flasheart from Blackadder there) and unlike some other
people who've expressed their opinions on the net, feel that Gary
will not be wearing a wig in the film on the basis that his beard,
which must've been cultivated specially for the movie, is brown and
matches his long & unkempt hair and that I sincerely hope (for Gary
Oldman's sake), that he doesn't wear his hair raggedy, long and
unkempt in real life.

I was a bit thrown by the very non-canonical tattoos/branding as
they look a bit sinister and primitive. I doubt that they would've
been included without JKR's knowledge and implied consent, given the
clout that she currently wields (one negative word from her and I
suspect that half of the HP4GU crowd would boycott the films). Those
who can be bothered to read and interpret the Runes on Gary Oldman's
chest (not me) may find this site useful:
http://hem.passagen.se/vsen/public_html/runes.htm#ALPHABET

Someone on the net manipulated the photo and thought that they could
see the words "Sirius" on Oldman's collarbone - all that I could
make out was a black smudge; it would be interesting if Sirius had
inscribed his own name on his body in order to remind himself of his
identity in anticipation of losing his mind in Azkaban IMO anyway.

Finally, IMO, Alan Rickman looks wonderful irrespective of whichever
direction the wind is blowing; Rupert Grint still looks very, very
young though I *love* his ill-fitting maroon "Weasley Jumper".

******

Sara_ELL ... now *VERY* impatiently waiting for the first photos of
Lupin to surface on the net (and still recovering from the
experience of seeing the ever fabulous David Thewlis in "Naked")
