Me now;
Don't know whether anyone's already replied to this; I recently joined the
main list and am overwhelmed by the enormous number of posts; posts from
the Movie list are hidden among the masses, but anyway; I seem to recall
that in the Harry/Hagrid conversation in the Leaky Cauldron, Harry asked
'Voldemort tried to kill me???'; IOW, did he, not *why* did he. That was
the crucial question to Dumbledore.
