Eh? Enlighten me please. What does "slashy" mean in this context? (Does
it have anything to do with the fan-fic term slash? If so, I *really* son't get it.)
I like the fringe. I prefer this look to the slicked-back hair Columbus gave
him. That hairdo had a certain charm in a fairy-talish, stereotype-way. The
new Draco feels more contemporary, belonging to the real world rather than
a story-book-nasty-kid-villain. Me like.

What's the Columbussy taint? Too sugarcoated, too magical? I'd love to
hear your views. Of course Columbus is bound to be felt in this movie
too--he's the producer and many of the sets are the same as in PS/CoS, so
we will see some continuity in that department. Still, there will also be many
new sets and Cuaron will have waved his wand over them to give them his
personal brand of magic...Besides, even the old sets could be made to
seem quite different with ligthing and how the filmings done.

BTW, that pic of Marge inflating was rather gruesome, I thought. It just
looked a tad to "real," particularly the way her skin flushes and bulges at
the throat. I guess I never really imagined in detail how it would actually
look if someone was inflated--and in a few months I won't have to,
apparently. I'll see it for myself...Do you know what I'm trying to say? I guess
I saw the scene as a cartoon bit, with her inflating like a baloon, but just like
a baloon, not lika human being. Cuaron wants matter-of-fact magic. (Which
is a good thing, since that's one of the things that makes Rowling's books
so special: the matter-of-fact-ness of the fantastical in the WW)

Also, Steve had a question about the pic of Harry in the courtyard. I agree
with whoever said that it could be from when Harry is left behind on a
Hogsmeade weekend. Even though it's an unfamiliar set, Cuaron may have
decided that the courtyart should look different from the way it looked
before. On the other hand, a castle of Hogwart's size must have several
smaller courtyards, so this is just a diiferent one from where we've been
previously.

Is there any possibility though that this is part of Hogsmeade? I recall there
was mention on the net about a sun dial garden set in Hogsmeade.
However, Hogsmeade is a village, so maybe it wouldn'g feature anything as
grand as the courtyard in the pic. Perharps it's more likely to be Hogwarts.

Loooove the horseless carriages. Instantly made me think of the invisible
thestrals pulling them although they won't be introduced for another two
movies.

BTW isn't this extremely early to release even a teaser-trailer? I know we
want it as badly as someone parched would like a drimk of water, but it still
seem awfully early. The premiere is still over six months away! Or is is just
because the two previous movies were released in Nov, and WB wants to
soothe us now that we have to wait until June?
