Trailer

I also have watched the trailer over and over. Got lucky during my
lunchbreak and downloaded it off of the Leaky Cauldron link and then
it went down about an hour later. However, I just hopped on the
Warner Brothers official site for HP and it is up there now. Just go
to the Daily Prophet and you can watch it in QuickTime, RealPlayer or
Windows Media Player and it has various speeds for connection too so
Iggy your dialup should work too. BTW the file if you download the QT
version is 14.5MB. Anyway, as for my observations. First I rather
like it and so do my two boys. I know loads of people complain that
the first two films were rather childish but I still enjoyed them
immensely and yes there were some strays from canon in both films.
Now POA is my favorite book so I have been rather anxious. The book
is darker than the other two and has several twist in the plot. I am
happy the trailer doesn't give away those twist (unfortunately some
reporters have- shame on them!). Anyway, this trailer looks darker, I
am still cringing over the dementor's hand on the train. Much scarier
than the Dark Riders in LOTR in my opinion. Now the scene with Snape
and Harry in the hall, I assumed it was when Harry was caught trying
to sneak back from Hogsmeade and either Ron or Remus is coming up
behind Snape. The choir doesn't bother me even though it is not canon
and part of me hopes it is in the film and part hopes it is just for
the teaser. I guess we wait and see. But I am also curious who is
conducting the choir and why they are holding toads. Speaking of the
choir, did everyone notice the robe changes? The slight coloring of
the lapels for house distinction - red, gold, blue and green for
Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytheirn? I never noticed that
in any photos but saw it all through the trailer. I think it is cool.
Oh, someone asked about Harry casting a spell in a room with candles,
I think that is when he is practicing his patronus. I loved the
Snape/Boggart scene too. Alan looks rather fetching in a dress. I
love Gary Oldman on the wanted poster and he looks so much like I
pictured Sirius in the scene where he is pointing, he is a handsome
man who has been through hell. I really only had one problem with the
trailer and that is the scene in which Snape is protecting the trio.
I don't understand where that is supposed to be in relation to the
book. Snape got knocked out in the Shrieking Shack. All I can figure
is that Snape never goes there and the trio along with moony and
Padfoot are bringing back Wormtail who changes back to a rat as Lupin
transforms in the moonlight and up pops Snape to protect them but
wait here come the dementors. Who knows. Guess I need to wait until
June 4th to figure that one out. All in all I am excited and have
already circle the 4th on my calendar. I would say my anxiousness
over the changes with Cuaron have eased now that I have seen the
trailer. If he can make the trailer this yummy. BTW showed the
trailer to my hubby who I will admit is not a HP fan - he has never
read the books and only watched the films with the boys and I as we
are so crazy about them. He is a die hard LOTR fan though. Anyway, he
said this one looks much better than the first two. Maybe I can
convince him to read the books afterall now. ;o) Anyway, hope those
of you who were unable to view can get the trailer off the official
site now. Then we can all be psyched!

PS: Don't mean to sound ignorant here but I don't watch much
television what station/network has Extra on it? I would love to see
the behind the scenes program tomorrow if someone could tell me.
Thanks.
