The picture looks so much different with a new director. I love the
way the camera "flows" (as Emma Watson puts it). This seems to be a
trademark of Cuaron.

Another thing that really pleases me is that Cuaron manages to catch
the changing seasons. In the previous two movies, the stories seem to
unfold in a month or so. Even though Columbus used some natural
scenes and there are various holidays, all in all, I can't really
feel that a year has gone by. (The pacing also caused this problem.)
Cuaron, on the other hand, is able to capture the changes in lights,
colors, and even temporature and other feels in different seasons.
Hopefully, when the final product comes out, it'd have the same magic
as "Y Tu" - the audience can almost breath the dry air of the desert
and the salty smell of the sea.
