Other links with TSP (sorry, can't say it...Especially not after the
uproariously fussy scenes in Blackadder...)
SPOILERS

1. "Fair is foul and foul is fair"
A nice description of the turnabout with Scabbers (beloved pet
"fair" becomes "foul") and Sirius (evil convict "foul" becomes "fair")

2. Prophecy
The witches' prophecy is the spoke on which the play turns. The
role of prophecy in the life Harry Potter begins to come to light in POA.
In OotP we see just HOW affected he is, like M, by the prophecy of a mad
witch(es)

3. Familiars
The witches address their familiars and their abilities to transform
into animals in several places--beginning with the opening chorus, and
throughout the play. Other than McGonagal's transformation into a cat at
the beginning of SS/PS, this book deals most intriguingly with animal
transformation thorughout.

Just some thoughts.
