I've always loved the visual of seeing the movie!

I was like you. I saw the first film first and then picked up the
books. I am in no way disappointed with the first two films. I
thought they were well done. The only critism I have is in the
second film the whole "mudblood" thing was downplayed so you didn't
realise the significance of Justin and Colin being petrified. Other
than that it followed the storyline nicely.
