Actually, Steve Kloves is supposed to be trying to fit it into one 2-2 1/2
hour movie. Good luck.

Look back at the previous interviews. He always says that. It's his
designated answer for that question. For one thing, WB only signs the kids
on for one movie at a time. For another, he's fourteen, and if he suddenly
finds he dislikes being Harry, he really doesn't need to be already
committed and end up doing it if he's miserable. After the first movie he
said he was doing the second, "after that, who knows?" After the second
movie, he said he was doing the third, "after that, who knows?" And now
he's saying the same thing about the fourth. And so on. Very diplomatic
answer, doesn't commit himself one way or another, leaves it in the hands of
WB.

And of course WB doesn't want to commit that long term with kids, for a
number of reasons. Will they be too short, will they be too tall, will they
get grumpy and hate acting, will they bet snobby and be jerks, and on it
goes. Although I must say, what's highly amusing right now is how everyone
(okay, at least the media) was going nuts last year because Daniel Radcliffe
grew a little, and now he's been passed up by almost everyone. Especially
Tom Felton!
