[HPFGU-Movie] Role for Patrick Stewart

I agree with what Lorrie wrote (see below.) On the one hand, I believe JKR has people in mind when she writes certain characters - for example, didn't she say that she pictured Maggie Smith as Professor MacGonagall? I do it too, when I write: it's fun to rip pages out of magazines and make up stories about the people in them, be they a famous person or an anonymous model or whoever.

I would prefer it if she just wrote the books for the books' sake, and not with the film in mind. But that's just my opinion. ^_^

Okay, I took the poll, but I have one question.

Why would we need a role written specifically for Patrick Stewart?
Now, before you jump all over me, hear me out.

While I am not a fan of the man, I can recognize his ability. Meaning,
that I don't think a role should be written 'specifically' for him,
he's such a talented actor that hair, or lack thereof shouldn't
matter. See what I mean?

Mr. Stewart can play any role (with or without hair) that he wants to.
I've seen him in comedy, drama, (I'm not sure what Dune was classified
as, but to me it was Horror, as in horrorible to watch).
