Hi,
There has been quite a lot of talk about the changes Alfonso Cuaron
has made to the HP movies -- Quidditch/no Quidditch, robes/no robes
etc. I thought I'd try an put a slightly more positive spin on the
issue -- change can be a good thing too, no? With the premiere of PoA
approaching, I wondered if there is anything you won't be sad to see
disappear from this film and from future ones?
Personally I don't care if I never see a "look straight ahead and
scream as loud as you can" shot again.

I just watched the "Little Princess" again today with my children. Directed
by Cuaron. That is such a beautifully executed movie, that I have no doubt
that POA will be visually exciting to watch. I suppose it is mainly the
director's vision, that shapes the interpretation from book to movie. Not
that he does it single-handedly. There's JKR, the screenwriter, art
director, producer, etc. I want to go in with an open mind, realizing it may
not be word-for word like the book. Hopefully the changes won't deviate TOO
much from the beloved HP story.
