The other day someone looked at my friend's little 3 year old, who has red
hair and said "He's a Weasley!!"  Isn't that funny? It's becoming a catch
phrase now. Guess that means the movies are very popular and mainstream.
Question: I have 2 six year olds. One of the other kindergarten Moms reads
her son the Harry Potter books, but won't allow him to see the movies (not
because of the violence; more because of the commercialism). I think that's
silly. The movies are a fantastic adaptation in my opinion. What's wrong
with bringing the characters to "visual life"? As long as you encourage the
reading as well? What do you all think?
