For those who don't believe that Tim Curry should be Voldemort, hit this

Even looking at his promo pic, he kinda carries that sinister feel with
it. Consider his portrayals in these movies (even just in voice
acting... since they can use puppetry of even good make-up work for him
as Voldemort...):
*V* = voice work
The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Frank N Furter. (Yes, it was a musical,
but he was pretty sinister in some of the scenes.)
Legend - Darkness (Most can't tell it is him in the makeup, but he was
definitely evil...)
It - Pennywise / Robert 'Bob' Gray (Sorry, but Pennywise gives me the
shivers bad even as an adult...)
Peter Pan and the Pirates (TV) - Capt. James T. Hook *V* (Good voice for
Hook, definitely mean. "James T. Hook", "James T. Kirk" Coincidence?
Sorry, just noticed that one...)
Fern Gully, the Last Rainforest - Hexxus *V* (An evil voice to be sure,
and the song he sings in it is creepy in its own right.)
Bartok the Magnificent - the Skull (Baba Yaga's skull gatekeeper.
Shows he can still sound evil.)
*grin* For those who say that he can't do it because he's known more for
cartoons and comedy, I'd have you look at a number of others who are
more known for comedy (and I'd include that many people pointed out
Blackadder as a more sinister role for Atkinson). Robin Williams and
Michael Keaton, for example, are both better known for comedy (or drama
in some cases), and can still come across as eerily evil and psychotic.
(One Hour Photo and Pacific Heights both come to mind.)
