Narcissa and Bellatrix (Was: casting Bellatrix)

Delurking for a moment to add my 2 knuts. I have always thought of 
Kristin Scott-Thomas as Narcissa. She is so beautiful and can pull 
off the snob so well, I thought of her while reading Goblet of Fire 
as I had just seen 4 Weddings and a Funeral again. Then I confirmed 
my feelings when I saw her in Gosford Park. Wow was she a snob who 
knew she was beautiful just like Narcissa. As for Bellatrix, Miranda 
Richardson would work, however, also in Gosford Park was Natasha 
Wightman and she has dark hair and is rather pale. She also has an 
aristocratic look to her and in one scene even had an almost evil 
look. For those of you who haven't seen Gosford Park it is a 
wonderful mystery film that has a mainly British cast and shows the 
differences between aristocrats and their 'staff' at their manors. It 
also has Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Geraldine Somerville (aka Lily 
Potter), Stephen Fry (he is the one who reads the HP books in the 
British versions of the audio books) and a host of other wonderful 
actors. I had seen the film before but bought the DVD as I liked it 
plus I wanted to see the interaction between Michael Gambon and 
Maggie Smith to prepare me for him as Dumbledore. He is very good in 
this film. Anyway, I watched it just before read book 5 and so I kept 
thinking of Kristin Scott-Thomas as Narcissa and Natasha Wightman as 
Bellatrix.
