Yes, and what, pray tell, IS that reason? I keep waiting for JKR to enlighten 
me, but so far, nothing. I still think he will factor prominently in helping to 
defeat Voldemort and save Harry's life in the end. I'm becoming very interested 
in the idea of a prequel with young Sirius, James, Lily, Peter, Remus, Severus 
and Lucius. I've been reading some of the HP Fanfic on this subject...very 
interesting theories.
