Now me --
When I was 17, Porky's (the first one) came out. My parents went to
see it and came home and said it was the funniest thing they had seen
in years, and I couldn't go see it. Naturally, I went and saw it
anyways, as I was old enough to get in. The point is, my parents
made a judgement on what they thought was acceptable for me, whether
or not I agreed with it. I fear too many parents today do not make
the same judgements, and do what's popular, not right. You have to
know your kids and what they can handle. I would have never taken my
daughter to see HP3 3 years ago; however, today, at age 11, she's
ready for this film.
