This line, from the article, makes me afraid and hopful:
"The franchise's screenwriter Steve Kloves may not return..."

Ideally, a passionate fan who is also a talented writer and director 
a'la Peter Jackson would take over both duties, with similar 
results...But, well, we know that's a fantasy. :-)
