Although I'm sure others will disagree, I completely agree with you. I've 
seen PoA three times already, and am planning on seeing it at least 2 more times 
before its out of theaters, and each time I have not been bored. I was sure I 
would be too since the end is my favorite part of the film, but I haven't been 
ansty or impatient waiting for that part. A lot of movies, especially those 
based on books, have a lot of 'exposition scenes' which get boring after the 
first or second viewing, so far from my perspective, every scene in PoA is 
interesting, even after you know what's going to happen.

It certainly is. The other two just seemed like the backgrounds were an 
afterthought, there as much as the story involved (like they include the forest and 
the quidditch field, but other than that there's not much there around the 
castle). Each frame of the film was so rich, with things going on in the 
background, and a sense of realism on top of that. It was the same feeling I got when 
I saw the first Lord of the Rings, *that* sort of depth.
