What clinched it for me was the whole farewell scene. When Lupin is
packing up his belongings. His whole speech has homosexual
undertones. I suppose the real question is: Are they trying to
portray Lupin as a homosexual, or are they just trying to parallel the
prejudice against homosexuals in our world and lycanthropy in the
wizarding world.
Although, I do think many things in the movie were fairly overt. The
whole quarreling couple line, Sirius talking about one heart (this
heart), clothing, musical tastes, posture, etc.
I've always thought of S/L as strictly fan fic, but now I realize quite a f=
ew
people are finding a homosexual subtext in the film. Is this imagination
running wild, or do you think Cuarón/Kloves are on to something that is
allready in the books?
